I had a reason;

The summer begins,
all over again,
but i look in the mirror,
and i'm back in a time,
when everything was right,
& love wasn't just a word
not to me, anyway
and everything made sense.
'everything happens for a reason'

well i had a reason,
now i don't.

and you won't care,
if i don't make it to my junior year.
& if you walk down the halls
of a street ont Jakarta, that you should past me in
and my face nevers shows
cause i never go

i doubt you'd even know.
but hope sits like an old wore out friend
& annoys me all over again,

i don't know if it's hope that kills
the summer's warmth,
or if it's the lack of it.

but i'm still in that winter day.
and, it was sunny,
but the rain never stops.
& the weather never changes.

unlike you.

& the mirror takes me back.
like a hurricane.
way off season

i don't need you.
i don't need your reason

i just need my reasons,
& i need the summer
& i need alot of things

but most of all,
i needed you to mean the things you said.

mirror, mirror on the wall,
who's the fairest of them all?
